Here’s portions of a website I designed for my final last term. We had to make these in Illustrator and Photoshop.
I went with a minimalist style white backdrop and played around with basic linework and shapes. My idea was that this site was touch based, for IPhones and IPads, you would basically scroll from left to right moving from page to page, pulling the background apart to enable areas of the site.I’d like to do more of these (with more colour of course) in the future.
Re-work I did for class, I cut some of the circles and made the type more visible and defined. Added drop shadow and I’ll probably lower the circle opacity to about 78 percent.
Still in the early stages of designing this, Putting it here on tumblr for you guys to see.
Dropped out the text and really focused on batman being the primary subject, I really wish I was in New York for this project because it would be better having him merged with the Empire State Building rather than some random tower in downtown LA
View Larger Finally finished this, Batman probably needs to be more opaque but I wanted it to look like he was emerging from the building itself to fight crime.
