Not looking forward to my high school’s film screening next month, I told a friend I’d go up with her to see everyone and it sucks because most of these kids hate me and spread rumours about me, behind my back. So yeah, really going to enjoy having the worst weekend since I moved to LA.
Luckily there will be an open bar so I’ll try to just get as absurdly drunk as possible and just Millennium Falcon through it.
The Walking Dead Game is amazing, it’s $24.99 on steam right now for the five episode season pass so do it. This is actually better than the show, which after last season, is not a tough act to follow.
Going to do a second playthrough when I’m done and create two separate storylines with parallel choices in each to see how it stacks up, as well as being a different type of character in each.
I haven’t been this into an RPG (if you can call it that) in awhile.
One of my friend’s parents asked me about why I’m doing art after they saw the “Useless college degree” thing on MSNBC, I explained to her that while the case against following a fine art practice is somewhat strong, if you’re good at it, reality based and have a solid career plan during/ post college, then making money isn’t an issue.
Regardless of that, she tried for an hour and a half to convince me that pursuing an art practice is wrong, something most of my family and friends back home have said to which I respond with “How’s that mortgage debt for the house you can’t afford and the student loan payments?”
Generally people who struggle doing art, don’t really plan ahead or think about what shortcomings they’ll face after college, granted that’s MY opinion on the matter, but if it’s something that you really want to do, just do it and work on being better, develop the skill, gain clients and the rest follows.
“I’m not really in any rush to be dating again, sure I’d like a girlfriend but, being alone is okay. Besides I’m not one of those dudes who bases my relationships with females solely on sex, that’s what whores and the internet is for.”
“Or one of those guys who thinks women owe him shit for being nice, ‘how dare you not touch my penis because I was being nice to you, not on a basis of courtesy but for dem boobies.’”
— Things my friend and I discuss.
