Bearded Ninjas

So, they’re releasing another piece of Mass Effect DLC that may or may not possibly change the game’s ending even further. If it hasn’t already been clear enough, this is obviously a game that really needed a little more care and time in development, because this should have all been here at launch. I’m not one of those people who was disappointed in the endings for numerous reasons but it’s always seemed to like the dev team had intended to include most of this content with the final game and just ran out of time to do so.

Still shout outs for really going the extra mile for fans.

Started playing Dragon Age II this weekend, and it’s a gem of a game, I have some issues with the combat, but it’s probably got the most enjoyable plot in a game I’ve played this year, I was broke when it originally came out so getting to finish parts I and II excluding DLC was great. If there was a way to cross sync my Steam save of Age one and carry over my playthrough that’d be great but what I’ve noticed is that the first game’s story doesn’t really have a huge impact on Hawke’s.

I hope the Walking Dead game has more than one season, from what I played in the first episode, it was engaging, dynamic, had great voice acting and the cellshading was awesome. It’d be cool to see this run concurrent to the main storyline within the comic/ tv show. Maybe having Rick and Lee meet at some point too? But that would be a little gimmicky, and I doubt the writers would go for something like that.

The Walking Dead Game is amazing, it’s $24.99 on steam right now for the five episode season pass so do it. This is actually better than the show, which after last season, is not a tough act to follow.

Going to do a second playthrough when I’m done and create two separate storylines with parallel choices in each to see how it stacks up, as well as being a different type of character in each.

I haven’t been this into an RPG (if you can call it that) in awhile.

Prototype 2 is all I’ll be kicking it with this week. Ordering it from Amazon because I don’t feel like dealing with the Gamestop crowd. I used to go there when I lived in San Francisco but stopped when Amazon became a much cheaper way of buying games. I did the same with going to the movies, AMC is where movies go to die by eating those discus midget pizzas, seriously who do they think likes to eat those and not feel like they’ve just broken all of the pizza commandments.

“Yo, this cheesey laser disc tastes good bro”

Then again it is AMC, the Mcdonald’s of movie theaters.
