Bought some new gear today, an external mic for my camera and some reflectors/ neutral density circles, also some gaffer tape and a light meter. I decided to just pitch in and buy the entire Zeiss lens kit for my camera, mainly because I won’t be buying tons of lenses during college. Economically speaking, it makes more sense over waiting and buying one at a time. I’d rather wait for a kit over constantly buying a Zeiss a month or something.
Doing my first fashion shoot in May alongside making my process book for clients and school, I like working with models a lot more than being off by myself taking fine art photographs. I really wanted my work to be more in the editorial/ fashion queue, I was always just too shy early on to do so, but after doing shoots with a few of my friends here my confidence is a lot more solid.
